With reference to the statement made in my despatch No.43 of the 13th inst. from Bangkok, June 23.4, regarding the proposed scale of duties leviable under the Siamese-British Agreement of 1856, I have now to inform you that the rates proposed by the Siamese Government upon Chinese goods were analyzed by the Board of Revenue.
As for bringing into force the required information to the date which has been fixed for the Agreement to come into force, I have the honour to furnish Your Lordship with the same.
With ref. to the despatch No.110.39 of June, I have now to inform you that the duties in question will amount to 397, according to the rates analyzed by the Board of Revenue.
